03:18 pm - Sakura Taisen Manga Vol. 3
Yay for today!
Today I went to the bookstore after seeing my teacher for some errands. It has been 6 months passed since the last time I visited this store.
Last year this store has been one of my most visited place, because they have this COOL policy where they provided samples for every book item they sold. So that people can come along and read them for free. WOW. But on February they've change management and I heard that the policy has been cut. So, without even checking if the rumor was true, I've somehow decided to not go there again. Well, the rumor was wrong after all. In fact I just came home after reading several movie magazine I haven't read for a while.
Thanks to those magazine, now I really want to watch "Fantastic Four" and "Batman Begins". Guess I'll wait until they are released on DVD, cause I don't feel like to watch on theatres. Main reason: I tend to pee a lot or sleepy when I'm in the theatres. Watching DVDs is relatively fun cause when nature calls you can just pause the movie and won't miss a thing. ^_^ Maybe next months those two (I heard) cool movies will be released. I'll be waiting for them to come...
I also read a game magazine. My oh my, "Tomb Raider Legend" is going to be released soon. From the screenshot I saw, I don't think I like the design and overall. This title is somewhat head towards the Tomb Raider movie style which I didn't really prefer. It does make more sense and looks real though.
I've been re-playing the playstation versions: "Last Revelation" and "Chronicles", this past few weeks and now I'm getting to the stage of 'What kind of foolish game are these'. Things are just not too real, and I died a lot. Lara Croft is not that hot anymore, and I don't think I want to see the new version released on PS2. It's just... boring.
The best part of my journey to the store is: I just bought Sakura Wars Manga volume 3.
I didn't really notice this book, because it's colored yellow. The first volume is pink colored (Sakura) and the 2nd one in violet (Sumire)... so I bet the 3rd one will be colored Navy Blue (Maria). The book almost slipped right through my eyes by that thought.
Luckily I've sense something familiar, and when I look at the book placed below the desk... It's MARIA! I immediately grab one, pay it and went straight home to read it.
Now I'm home and will be reading the manga after I post this entry. I can't wait to read it. From my fast read I know that Kanna has arrived, and there's this cute picture of Reni, Orihime and Ratchet. Beside that, there's Kanna, Iris and Sakura posing in their Shin Saiyuuki costume. And not to forget, the cameo of Glycine and Oota Yokihiko. Nice. VERY NICE!
I really like this manga, the character designs are all nice and cute and the story are wonderful (Bravo, Ouji-San). I hope they will continue this until Sakura Wars V chapter. Cause I want to see Reni, Orihime, Paris Hanagumi and the New York Hoshigumi not as cameos here. Well... at least until Sakura Wars 4, since Oogami is the main character here.
Want to read it now...
